Valmorel Ski Station.

Sunday 22nd of March. Caught a bus to Valmorel for a day of snowboarding.
The mountains were stunning. The weather was beautiful. The snow was… skied on. But still good.
Valmorel is a little ski station about 2 and a half hours east of Lyon.
It is situated next to the Parc National de la Vanoise and right near the Italian border.
Chamonix, which is just north of Valmorel and closer to the Swiss border, is where I spent my February break.
Unfortunately, Sunday was the last time I’ll see snow for this trip, as the season is coming to an end.
The French Alps provide yet another reason to come back to Europe sooner rather than later…
